A Nigerian woman has sparked outrage online after revealing a frightening dating story that quickly took an unexpected turn.
In a popular video posted on X (previously Twitter), @mazi_chinonso described how the date began properly until the man began making uncomfortable remarks.
In her words, read what she said below:
“I went on a date and he was like, ‘After this, where are we going?’ I was like, ‘We? We’re not going anywhere. I’m going home.’
He asked if he should come with me, saying he wanted to see my house, chill, and maybe spend the night. I told him no. I don’t like people coming to my house, and I wasn’t going to his either.”
She claimed that the man initially appeared to accept her response and went silent, leading her to believe the situation was resolved.
However, moments later, she stated that things took an unexpected turn when he contacted the waitress and requested her to box the food she was eating.
According to the lady, the action was embarrassing and unnecessary, but she chose to laugh it off rather than make a fuss.
She stated that she quietly left the restaurant, observing that the man did not even offer to drop her off or check on her afterwards.
“Thank God I had food at home. I just went home,” she concluded.
The event has elicited conflicting emotions online, with many social media users criticising the man’s conduct others thanking the lady for setting firm boundaries.
