A Nigerian woman has generated outrage online after describing how her boss accused her of contempt for offering to pay for two extra bus seats so she wouldn’t miss an essential exam.
According to the lady, the incident occurred on a work trip that began on Friday and was supposed to end on Monday, with her exam set for Tuesday morning.
She stated that she had already notified her supervisor about the exam and requested that they return on Monday evening after completing the assignment.

“We finished the job on Monday afternoon and I told my boss we could leave that same day, but he said he was tired and suggested we should leave very early the next morning.”
The lady explained that her supervisor had pushed back their departure the next morning.It was nearly 9:30 a.m. when they arrived at the park.
The Sienna bus they were going to board still need two more passengers before it could depart.
“Because of my exam, I offered to pay for the remaining two seats so we could leave immediately,” she added.
She claims her employer became enraged, accusing her of rudeness and “see finish,” claiming that a woman should not pay for seats when a guy is around.
Despite the strain, she paid for the seats so that she wouldn’t miss the exam.
The story has sparked conflicting reactions online, with many Nigerians discussing whether the lady did the right thing.
