Gunmen abduct son as his pastor father flees during home invasion in Ondo

A nine-year-old boy, Victor Olaosebikan, has reportedly been abd¥cted by armed men who att@cked Igbosi Community in Idogun, Ose Local Government Area of Ondo State in the early hours of Friday, June 5.

According to reports, the gunmen stormed the community, firing sh0ts and causing panic among residents. The att@ckers allegedly forced their way into the home of Pastor Isaac Olaosebikan, who fled into the surrounding bush for safety. In the process, his son, Victor, was left behind and was subsequently taken away by the a$$ailants.

Another resident, Joel Owalekan, also reported that the gunmen attempted to break into his residence and vandalized parts of the property. He, however, escaped unharmed after fleeing the area.

Confirming the incident, the spokesperson for the Nigeria Police Force, DSP Abayomi Jimoh, said the att@ck was reported to the police at about 2:30 a.m. on Friday. He added that security operatives immediately launched a response and are working to rescue the abd¥cted child and apprehend those responsible.

The incident has heightened concerns over insecurity in rural communities, with residents calling for increased security presence and swift action to ensure Victor’s safe return.
