Following criticism from Nollywood actress Nkechi Blessing on her social media behaviour, former Big Brother Naija Level Up winner Phyna has answered.

In a previous post that Gistreel highlighted, Nkechi called Phyna’s social media activity an annoyance and questioned whether she didn’t have people nearby who could offer advice.

She also cautioned Phyna not to treat her disrespectfully and reminded her of their age gap.

In response to her article, Phyna stressed that they are not friends nor business associates and expressed perplexity as to why Nkechi brought her into the situation.

Phyna claimed that approximately two months prior, Nkechi had been in touch with her about a film project and asked for her account information.

She claims that when she replied later that day, Nkechi told her that, in order to avoid postponing the project, she had already cast someone else.

“Nkechi reached out to me. She said we should do her film. She messaged me for the amount. When I told her, she said ₦1.5m was too much. I asked how much she was going to pay me because I had to tell her I wanted her to come do live streaming with me, but she didn’t say anything again.

She said she doesn’t delay her job, that she sent me a message in the morning and I was just replying in the evening, so she had cast someone else. I apologised. No other conversation, no other chat. We are not friends.”

In addition, Phyna called Nkechi “grandma” and asked why the actress was approaching her in public without warning, promising to post screenshots of their exchange.

Social media users have continued to comment on the confrontation between the reality star and actress, drawing attention to it.
