A Nigerian woman living in Canada has sparked outrage online after saying that a man she had intended to marry recently called to ask for money.
According to her, the man wanted to marry her before she moved to Canada, but their relationship did not work out.

“The man that I would have married for love before I came to Canada called me a few months ago to ask me for money, for me to borrow him money.
He’s still in Nigeria. Broke. If I had married him few months ago this year, I would have been somewhere suffering. Tying wrapper”
Reflecting on the scenario, the lady stated that she couldn’t stop thinking about how different her life would have been if she had gotten married earlier in the year.
She also stated that she is grateful for the timing of events, meaning that it would have been difficult for her if she had married him while he was struggling financially.
Her message has received various comments online.
