A church testimony shared by a Nigerian lady has gone viral after she revealed how a fellow member’s ₦8.45 million debt was allegedly forgiven.

According to the lady, the woman had taken a ₦10 million loan for her business in Idumota, Lagos, but ran into financial trouble and could only repay ₦1.5 million in one year.

She said the creditor started mounting pressure about three months ago, demanding the remaining ₦8.5 million balance and threatening to lock up her shop if she defaulted.

After struggling without success to raise the money, the debtor reportedly went down on her knees last Monday to pray for divine intervention.

Then on Friday, while at her shop, the creditor appeared without notice. The woman said she was scared at first, but the man simply asked if she had ₦50,000 in her account.

She told him that was all she had left. To her shock, he asked her to send him the ₦50,000 and forget about the rest of the debt.

He was said to have told her to stop worrying and focus on taking care of herself. When she sought clarification if he truly meant she should no longer pay the balance, he affirmed that the debt was completely forgiven.

He collected the ₦50,000 transfer and left, leaving the woman in disbelief.

Sharing the testimony, the lady who posted it described it as a clear answer to prayer, writing, “You guys, GOD IS REAL O!”
