“Girls called me ugly in university” – Don Jazzy reveals why he struggles to believe women love him

Don Jazzy, the boss of Mavin Records, has spoken up about his challenging experiences at university and how they impacted his confidence over time.

During an interview with media personality Ebuka on Bounce Radio, he confessed that he was frequently mocked at school, which had a long-term influence on his self-esteem and public confidence.

“Girls used to call me ugly in university and no one wanted to be my girlfriend. It affected my confidence, and that’s why I’m shy and struggle to speak in public till today.

It is also why I find it hard to believe when a woman tells me she truly loves me. Most of them are now rushing me now, why didn’t they love me then?” he said.

Don Jazzy claimed that his early experiences moulded his self-image and made it difficult for him to truly trust displays of affection, despite his current success and notoriety.

In a previous viral video reported by Gistreel, the Mavin Records boss discussed why modern marriages fail, using wedding cake traditions as a metaphor to contrast old and new relationships.

He explained that in the past, couples frequently offered traditional fruit desserts during weddings, which were kept for a long time.

He proposed that the durability of the cakes represented the longevity of marriages in the past, as opposed to current relationships.
