A Nigerian man’s post regarding the sum sought by an Anglican church for his grandfather’s burial sparked social media discussion.

A man identified as @daddyfemzy on X (previously Twitter) stated that the Anglican church asked ₦500,000 for his grandfather’s burial arrangements.

The X user reports that all goods in the Anglican church, including the deceased, are taxed.

In a popular tweet, he revealed the church’s location in Osun and expressed dissatisfaction with the requested donation sum.
