A woman has expressed her dissatisfaction after alleging that a long-time male friend rejected down her request for a romantic connection and then refused to assist her with the cost of transportation.

The woman claims that when the man asked her out, she had just finished her industrial training (IT) placement.

She claimed to have graciously turned down the proposal, stating that she would rather stay friends rather than start a potentially short-lived romance.

She added that she was stuck without enough cash to get home after leaving work.

She said she contacted her friend, hoping he would help, and asked for ₦1,000. When he refused, she lowered the sum to ₦500.

Recounting the incident, the lady said, “Guys, I just closed from my IT place now and this my friend that we’ve been friends for some time now asked me out. I told him no that I just want normal friendship and I feel like we can be okay as friends. I don’t want relationship because e fit no last.”

She continued, “So now I’m going home and I don’t have N5 to go home so i begged this guy for 1k he did not give me. I said even if it’s N500 he did not give me. But for my front, he gave a lady 5k just to go home. I don’t know what to say but it’s okay. Now I’m stranded and the God of Innocence will judge him. Even if it N200 you could not give me to enter bike because I refused to have a relationship with you. I pray that girl breaks your heart and break it and break it.”
