Update: DPO who allegedly accused good samaritan of m#rder summoned to police headquarters

The Divisional Police Officer DPO of the GRA Police station in Asaba, Delta state, has been called by the Police Complaint Unit due to allegations that a good samaritan was falsely accused.

Tomi Wojuola, a Nigerian man, used social media to describe how, after rushing a dying man to the hospital, he was nearly set up for m_√der. He claimed that after taking the man who had fallen on the road to a hospital, the man tragically passed away, so he went to a police station to make a police report. He claimed that the DPO accused him of m•√der and threatened to deal with him while he was filing the report. Tomi claimed that he was spared the ordeal by God’s grace.

The Police Complaint Unit responded to the online report by stating on its X handle that the concerned DPO had been called to the Force Headquarters.
