Comedian Deeone has called out Afrobeats superstar Davido for failing to attend the wedding of his longtime friend and business associate, Soso Soberekon.

The lavish wedding, held in Warri, Delta State, on Saturday, July 25, attracted several celebrities and prominent figures from the entertainment industry, making Davido’s absence a major talking point online.

Reacting in a video shared on social media, Deeone expressed disappointment that the singer neither attended the ceremony nor publicly congratulated Soberekon on his social media platforms.

The comedian went further to allege that Davido could be “jealous” of the music executive’s wealth, while also claiming that Davido’s own highly publicized wedding looked like a mere “bachelor’s party” when compared to Soberekon’s elaborate celebration.

Deeone’s remarks have since sparked mixed reactions online. While some social media users agreed with his observations, many others criticized him for interfering in what they described as a private matter between friends, arguing that no one knows the reasons behind Davido’s absence.
