Suspected baπdits have reportedly attacked Aluta Bar Relaxation in Oke-Ijumu, located in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, k!lling one customer and abd¥cting two members of staff.

According to reports, the attackers stormed the relaxation spot on the night of June 6, 2026, opened fire on patrons, and fatally sh0t a customer. Several other people were also said to have sustained injuries during the incident.

Amid the chaos, the a$$ailants allegedly abd¥cted two individuals believed to be the bar manager and a female sales attendant before fleeing the area.

Eyewitnesses stated that security personnel responded to the distress call shortly after the att@ckers had left the scene.

The Kogi State Government later confirmed the att@ck in a statement. According to Kingsley Fanwo, security operatives engaged the attackers in a gun battle, forcing them to retreat into nearby forests.

Fanwo added that security agencies have intensified efforts to track down those responsible and secure the release of the abducted victims.
