Bovi Ugboma, an award-winning Nigerian comedian, will complete his 2026 world tour with two huge concerts in Nigeria, following a string of sold-out foreign shows.
The comedian’s Bovi: Guilty as Charged tour will return in October, beginning with a performance in Benin City on October 1 and ending in Lagos on October 11.
The Lagos finale will take place at the Convention Center, Eko Hotel, capping out Bovi’s months-long tour in front of a Nigerian audience.
Bovi began the international part of the tour in the United Kingdom over Easter, selling out Indigo at The O2.
He then flew to Canada and performed in six locations, including Toronto, Calgary, and Edmonton. According to the release, all six Canadian events have sold out.
The tour’s last shows will now take place in Nigeria, with Lagos hosting the grand finale and Benin City opening the homecoming leg.
Bovi, who has worked in entertainment for almost 20 years, is well-known for his stand-up routines that focus on relationships, society, popular culture, and everyday life.
In addition to signalling the conclusion of his 2026 world tour, Bovi’s live performances in Lagos will feature a fresh arrangement.
Ticket purchasers will have assigned seats for the first time, and they will be able to choose their favourite seats while making their purchase. This arrangement will be valid across the venue.
Following its successful run in the UK and Canada, the two Nigerian performances will provide local fans with a chance to see the Guilty as Charged material.
