A Nigerian woman has sparked reactions on social media after openly expressing her frustration about being single and her desire to be in a relationship.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), she challenged the common belief that being single is always a personal choice, arguing that many people only pretend to be comfortable with it.

Her remarks have since generated discussion online, with users sharing differing opinions on relationships, dating, and the realities of single life.

In her words, she said:

“Being single is not a choice, being single is not a choice. I no see who go date me, na wetin make most of us dey pretend.”

She further expressed frustration about her dating life, claiming that despite trying to stay positive, she has not been able to find a partner.

“Your happiness doesn’t revolve around a man, your happiness does not revolve around a man, go and heal oo. Apart from self-love, happiness revolves around a man, and that’s the truth,” she added.
