“Aunty I no dey leave my money for woman” – Lady shares how she taught man a lesson

A lady described how a brief relationship with a fellow passenger ended unexpectedly when he refused to leave his money with a woman over a transport fee change.

According to the lady, they had both boarded the same commercial bus when the conductor added their unpaid balances before hurriedly driving away.

The conductor handed her the entire ₦500, despite the fact that she was only supposed to receive ₦200 and the man was owed ₦300.

The lady stated that the male quickly sought his portion, saying that he would not let a woman keep his money.

Instead of returning only ₦300, she gave him the complete ₦500 and walked away.

Recounting the incident, the lady said, “Aunty I no dey leave my money for woman”. She explained that the statement came immediately after the conductor drove off with the combined change.

She added that she responded by saying, “when you reach house tell your family members that a woman dashed you money for the first time in your life“. She said she then left the scene while the man remained standing and staring at her.

The lady expressed surprise at the man’s attitude, despite the fact that the amount was only ₦300 and she had never requested financial assistance from him.

Her account has subsequently sparked debate on social media, with many users questioning whether the passenger’s comment was necessary.

Some commended the lady’s response, while others suggested splitting the ₦500 based on individual owing amounts.
