A Nigerian man, identified as @EbukaTBH on X (formerly Twitter), shared the circumstances that led to his friend requesting ₦200k from him.

The X user revealed in a widely shared post that his friend called him and begged for money to bail his brother.

During their conversation, his friend informed him that his brother had been arrested and needed money to secure his bail.

He sympathized with his friend and transferred ₦150,000.

A day later, while strolling, he stopped by his friend’s residence, which led to an unexpected outcome.

His brother thanked him for intervening to secure his release with ₦80,000 even though his friend was not present during the visit. He was therefore taken aback.
