Daddy Freeze, a well-known figure in the media, has cautioned men who are still having financial difficulties against marrying firstborn daughters from low-income households.
In a widely shared video, Freeze made the comments while speaking to men he referred to as “upcoming” and still attempting to make a name for themselves financially.
“Unless you are very wealthy.”
He believes that unless a man has significant financial resources, he should not wed the firstborn daughter of a low-income family.
“As a man, never marry the firstborn daughter of a poor man unless you are extremely wealthy. I repeat what I’m saying. Do not marry any girl that is firstborn from a poor home unless you are extremely wealthy.”
He made it clear that being wealthy meant more than just having a high-paying job or being employed by the government.
“I don’t mean civil service wealthy. I mean generational wealth wealthy. Nor de marry other unless you get money or your papa get plenty money.”
Freeze further cautioned men who are still having financial difficulties against getting married in this way, claiming that firstborn daughters from low-income families might have important obligations to their families.
“If you are still hustling, if you are still struggling, don’t marry firstborn daughter if your papa not get money or your papa not be okay.”
He claimed that firstborn daughters from low-income families could rely on their husbands to improve their own and their families’ living conditions, calling them “the expanders of poverty.”
“They are called the expanders of poverty and they will use you to upgrade themselves and their families and very often even leave you once they are done with the upgrade.”
In closing, Freeze urged men to think about their financial situation before choosing a spouse and asked anyone who didn’t agree with his viewpoint to leave a comment.
