Pharmacist sparks outrage after controversial post appears to normalise non-consensual $3x

A Nigerian pharmacist and published author has come under heavy criticism after making a Facebook post that many social media users say appears to excuse or normalise non-consensual $3x.

His comments came amid widespread discussions surrounding the case of a 20-year-old woman who allegedly d!ed by su!c!de after accusing content creator Odogwu Asaba of √@ping her.

In the post, the pharmacist blamed the victim for going to a hotel in search of help and suggested that many men criticizing the suspect had also engaged in $3xual activity without a partner’s full consent. He also claimed that many women remain in relationships despite having experienced such incidents.

He wrote:

“As a guy, if you have never forced a girl before, be the first to throw a stone, and as a girl, if a man, be it your boyfriend, has never had $£x with you without your full consent, also be the first to throw a stone.

“Many of us casting stones against Odogwu Asaba, labeling him a beast simply because some of the girls with whom we have had or continue to have affairs chose not to turn against us.

“Some of us have torn our girls’ clothes many times, made love, and still live as if nothing has happened.

“As a man, always pray for your “chi” to always be on your side with dealing with a woman, because a girl can enter into a problem with a clear eye and still use it against the guy.

“No one remembers that it was #Greed that made the girl enter the hotel room with him in the name of seeking help.

“Pls, I am not in support of r@pe and will never be!!!”

The post has triggered widespread backlash, with many users condemning the remarks as victim-blaming and stressing that sexual activity without consent is unacceptable regardless of the relationship between the individuals involved. Others argued that a person’s decision to meet someone or enter a private location does not remove their right to consent or justify $3xual a$$ault.
