Teniola Apata, often known as Teni, has sparked outrage online after criticising Ghanaian music singers Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy for biassed officiating in a recent football match involving Nigeria.
In a viral video, the singer humorously blamed Ghanaians of being responsible for Nigeria’s defeat, stating that the match official, whom she described to as their “brother,” supported the rival team.
Teni expressed her dissatisfaction in an emotive but hilarious manner, stating that the game’s outcome had greatly upset her.
She went on to make a lighthearted appeal to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, asking him to “send a fighter jet to Ghana,” while emphasising that she hadn’t been feeling well since the defeat.
Read what she said below;
“Ghanaians na Una make Nigeria lose this game yesterday. Ghanaians you will pay for this. How can you betray Nigerians this way. Baba Tinubu please help me send fighter jet to Ghana. I no dey feel well since yesterday, I no well,”
