At the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, the Nigerian Super Eagles have earned $80,000 for their effectiveness in front of goal.

The Super Eagles have scored the most goals in the tournament thus far with 12 goals, and the Nigeria Football Federation, or NFF, had promised the team $5,000 per goal during the group stage.

The eight goals the team scored in their three group matches against Tanzania, Tunisia, and Uganda earned them $40,000.

They received $40,000 for the four goals they scored in the Round of 16 match against the Mozambican Mambas.
