Actress Folake Olowofoyeku talked candidly about her upbringing in Nigeria.

The Bob Hearts Abishola star claimed that light-skinned girls were viewed as more attractive in Nigeria due to colorism.

She continued by saying that it wasn’t until she relocated to the US that she was frequently referred to as “beautiful.”

Comedian Godfrey provided cultural context during the conversation, stating that some Nigerians even pinch babies’ noses in the hopes that they will grow up with narrower features like Caucasians.
