On January 8, a 20-year-old man named Aliyu Hamman was taken into custody by the Delta State police for allegedly st@.bb!ng his brother to d£•@th.

According to a statement issued by the command’s spokesperson, SP Bright Edafe, Ogwashiku Division received a report at approximately 07:31 on the day that a 20-year-old male was fatally st@.bbed while asleep at Poly Road by Adaigbo Filling Station at approximately 03:20 on the same day. 

According to Edafe, the Divisional Police Officer (DPO), Ogwashi-Uku Division, CSP Israel Okoyomon, quickly dispatched detectives to the scene after receiving the report. 

According to a preliminary investigation, the deceased was allegedly s.t@bbed by his brother, Aliyu Haman, a 20-year-old man. The weapon used in the crime was found, he continued, and the suspect was taken into custody. 

The body was removed and placed at Odua Mortuary in Ogwashi-uku for an autopsy, according to the police photographer. The investigation is still underway, and the suspect is in custody.
