The student, identified as Josephine “Christian” Simmons-Peters, was taken into custody in February 2026 at Southwestern Middle School. Investigators say she posted a disturbing 13-step manifesto online, outlining plans for an हमला and referencing the Columbine High School massacre.
According to officials, the document allegedly included a list of intended victims and detailed instructions on how weapons could be smuggled into the school. The threat came to light after an anonymous tipster alerted authorities, prompting swift intervention.
No weapons were recovered, and officials confirmed that the situation was contained before any harm could occur.
Simmons-Peters now faces charges of making written threats to k!ll and misuse of a two-way communications device. Authorities also confirmed that a second individual has been arrested in connection with the case, though details about their involvement have not yet been fully disclosed.
Law enforcement emphasized that early reporting played a critical role in preventing a potential tragedy.
