Nigerian social media personality Geh Geh has declared his support for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election, stating that his voting decision will be based on the candidate he believes can best represent his interests.

In a statement shared online, Geh Geh named Obi as his preferred candidate among potential contenders, including incumbent President Bola Tinubu, former Vice President Atiku Abubakar and activist Omoyele Sowore.

Explaining his decision, the social media personality said his choice reflected his personal opinion of the candidates rather than loyalty to any political party.

“For 2027 election presidency, I dey vote for Peter Obi. My reason is out of the rest of them, Tinubu, Atiku, Sowore and the rest of them, Obi is the best candidate. That is my own personal opinion,” he said.

Geh Geh stressed that his decision would be guided by his assessment of the candidates and who he believes would best represent his interests as a Nigerian and a Deltan.

He also revealed that he intends to document his voting process on election day.

“I’m not voting based on political party. I dey vote based on the right candidate wey I feel say e dey worthy to represent my interest as a Deltan and as a Nigerian,” he added.

The social media personality also encouraged Nigerians who are dissatisfied with the available presidential candidates to consider entering politics and contesting for public office themselves.

According to him, people who believe the current contenders are unsuitable should consider presenting themselves as alternatives and seeking public support.

“If you feel that Obi, Tinubu, Atiku or Sowore is not right for the position, you declare your intention to run for the position so that people wey believe in you go support you,” he said.

Geh Geh further urged Nigerians to think independently when making political decisions and avoid being swayed by political arguments as the country approaches the 2027 general election.

His comments have added to the ongoing public conversations surrounding political choices and the candidates Nigerians may support in the next presidential election.
