A young woman generated outrage on social media after a video showed her throwing away her boyfriend’s Valentine’s Day gifts, alleging they were hasty, inconsiderate, and came after he acted harshly to her earlier in the day.
Throughout the video, she exhibits frustration, repeatedly refusing to take what she refers to as “last-minute” gifts.
According to her account, the argument began earlier that morning when her partner allegedly treated her disrespectfully.
Her narration claims that her boyfriend’s insulting remarks to her earlier that morning sparked the argument.
The woman also complained that a number of products did not suit her tastes, such as popcorn, which she said she disliked and was not her favourite.
She stressed in the video that Valentine’s Day had been essentially “cancelled” for her, contending that romantic gestures have to be thoughtful and deliberate rather than hurried.
