Donald Trump has explained why he will not be attending the wedding of his son, Donald Trump Jr..

In a post shared on his official X account, Trump stated that although he would have loved to celebrate with his son and his fiancée, Bettina Anderson, his responsibilities as president would not allow him to leave Washington, D.C. at this time.

According to him, ongoing national matters require his presence at the White House, making it necessary for him to remain focused on government duties.

“While I very much wanted to be with my son, Don Jr., and the newest member of the Trump Family, his soon to be wife, Bettina, circumstances pertaining to Government, and my love for the United States of America, do not allow me to do so.
