What I Will Do to Anybody Who Happens to Touch Any of My Children – Joshua Iginla Reveals

In a recent vedio on YouTube,Joshua Iginla, a well-known Nigerian cleric, has sparked widespread reactions following a fiery sermon in which he spoke strongly against insecurity and unrepentant political leaders.

Addressing his congregation, Iginla used vivid language to emphasize the right to self-defense and the need for accountability among those in power. “You can’t enter my house and attack my children,” he said. “If I have a cutlass, I will deal with you. If I have [anything to defend myself], I will deal with you.” His comments, delivered passionately, drew loud responses from worshippers.

The preacher extended his remarks beyond personal safety to include a sharp critique of political leadership. “Every evil politician who has refused to repent, whose conscience has been cemented…,” he declared, trailing into a broader condemnation of corruption and moral decay in governance.

Iginla’s statements come at a time when many Nigerians continue to express concern over security challenges and the perceived failure of leadership to adequately protect citizens. His sermon reflects a growing sentiment among some religious leaders who are increasingly vocal about societal issues, blending spiritual messages with calls for social justice.

Supporters argue that his words capture the frustration of ordinary citizens who feel exposed to danger and neglected by authorities. They see his message as a call for courage, responsibility, and moral awakening.

However, critics warn that such strong rhetoric, particularly references to violence in self-defense, may be misinterpreted or escalate tensions if not carefully contextualized.
