A Nigerian woman has expressed her surprise online after accompanying a friend to the hospital for stomach ache, only for the visit to end with the unexpected arrival of a baby girl.

In an internet video, the lady claimed that she never anticipated someone close to her might have a cryptic pregnancy.

She had only read stories about cryptic pregnancy before, but she never imagined it would happen to someone she knew.

She added that she took her companion to the hospital when she complained of stomach ache, only to learn that she was in labour.

“Since I was born, I have never seen someone who has cryptic pregnancy. I used to hear it. I never imagined or believed it will happen to someone close to me.

“Now, we brought my friend to the hospital complaining of stomach pain, and now we are going home with a baby girl. Where do we start from? What do we tell them when we get home?

“It’s still like film to me, like a dream.”
