Traders carry mannequins on their heads to boost Christmas sales in Aba

Some vendors in Aba, Abia State, have gained attention online after being observed carrying mannequins dressed in clothes on their heads while walking down Ngwa Road to make Christmas sales.

The bizarre but clever display, recorded in a viral video, included traders traversing busy streets as fully clothed mannequins balanced above them.

The strategy was designed to attract customers and make their items stand out among the holiday bustle.

According to local observations, the practice improves traders’ visibility in congested markets while allowing them to roam freely rather than remaining in one location.

By transforming themselves into walking displays, the vendors were able to reach a larger audience, particularly during the peak holiday season.

The video elicited replies on social media, with many users complimenting the merchants’ creativity and financial acumen.
