
Nigeria will soon receive four attack helicopters that were purchased from the United States, according to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, as the nation steps up efforts to combat growing insecurity in a number of areas.
During a meeting with leaders of the Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), the president revealed this information and assured the populace that his administration is strengthening the country’s security architecture.
According to him, the helicopters are a part of continuous efforts to increase military capability and enhance quick reaction to security risks.
Tinubu clarified that it takes time to acquire cutting-edge military hardware, pointing out that it is not easily found off the shelf.
He underlined the federal government’s dedication to providing the armed forces with cutting-edge equipment necessary to fight t£r√0rism, b@nditry, and other illegal activities despite the delays.
