After publicly commending Lagos State Traffic Management Authority (LASTMA) officers for their tireless efforts during the holiday season, singer Timi Dakolo responded harshly to criticism.
In a post, Dakolo praised the officers, saying they had been working nonstop in December and should be commended for their hard work.
One social media user, however, took issue with the compliment, calling it “clapping for a fish for swimming” and dismissing it as pointless.”
Dakolo responded to the remark by telling the critic to shut up and asking if they knew what it meant to work nonstop. He went on to say that those who perform hard jobs should be commended when they succeed..
