While traveling to the party’s zonal congress in Lafia, Nasarawa State, three members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) from Ogbadigbo Local Government Area in Benue State perished in a traffic accident.

According to information gathered, the incident happened on the Makurdi–Lafia expressway on Wednesday, March 25, 2026.

According to James Ornguga, the APC’s State Organizing Secretary, some other party members were hurt and are presently being treated at the Benue State University Teaching Hospital (BSUTH), Makurdi.

“Yes, we lost three of our members from Ogbadigbo, while others were injured and are receiving treatment at BSU Teaching Hospital,” Ornguga said.
