
After being held captive for more than a month, three members of the Taki community in Kogi State’s Kabba/Bunu Local Government Area were freed.
More than four weeks ago, Eniojukan Samuel, his wife Eniojukan Bunmi, and sister-in-law Ekomitan Mary were k!.dnapped along the Ihale–Taki Road.
To free the victim, the b@πdits demanded a ransom of N20 million.
Community sources claim that a ransom was paid before they were freed.
The victims’ return has greatly relieved their families and the community at large, even though the specifics of the negotiations are still unknown.
