A Nigerian lady has sparked widespread discussions online after sharing a painful account of how her relationship with a married couple she worked for allegedly ended in conflict and rejection.

According to her, she worked for the family as a maid for about five years and initially enjoyed a good relationship with both husband and wife before tensions reportedly developed between her and the woman of the house.

She alleged that the husband later proposed a secret arrangement to her, promising financial support and assistance toward her educational and business ambitions.

The lady further claimed that the situation changed after the wife became pregnant, alleging that the man then began distancing himself and eventually told her to terminate her own pregnancy while denying previous promises and agreements.

Narrating the ordeal, she said:

“I started working with them five years ago. Initially, the woman was nice to me, but after a few months she changed and started treating me in a way I don’t like. The husband came to me and said he needed my help because they had been married for 10 years without a child.”

“He said I have to terminate it, can’t I see his wife is also pregnant. He said he doesn’t owe me anything that his wife is already pregnant.”

They shouted at me and threw me out of the house and didn’t even pay me for the last month I worked,” she added.

Her story has since generated mixed reactions on social media, with some users expressing sympathy and concern, while others questioned the decisions and circumstances that led to the situation. The discussion has also reignited debates around relationships, workplace boundaries, power dynamics, and personal responsibility.
