According to reports, an American guy found out that his older brother had discreetly sold a shopping center he had purchased for ₦10 million for ₦100 million.

The man claims that he bought the property in Nigeria in 2020 and left the paperwork with his older brother before going back to the United States.

According to reports, the man trusted the brother with the paperwork because he had been involved in the property sale from the start.

The man claimed that in 2025, his older brother contacted to let him know that the shopping center would be demolished due to an ongoing road building project.

Because the property was allegedly impacted by a government road project, he apparently accepted the argument and felt powerless.

But when he passed by the property this year after returning to Nigeria, he saw that no road building was underway.

Rather, he apparently discovered a sizable restaurant on the property.

According to reports, the man started asking questions and found out that the restaurant had purchased his land.

The individual allegedly acknowledged selling the home for ₦100 million when he faced his older brother.

According to the discovery, the property that was purchased for ₦10 million was allegedly sold without the owner’s consent for ten times its initial purchase price.

The episode has raised concerns about family trust, especially when important assets and financial obligations are entrusted to family members.
