Nigerian singer Spyro has shared the story of how he met his partner, revealing that their relationship began after they met at a nightclub.

Speaking in a recent interview, Spyro explained that his fiancée was not at the club to party but was working there.

He clarified that he was not suggesting there was anything wrong with partying, but noted that her work at the venue was what first caught his attention.

According to the singer, he became curious about why she was working there, prompting him to strike up a conversation. Their initial interaction developed into a friendship over time.

Spyro said there eventually came a moment when he realised that the woman he had been looking for had been right in front of him all along.

He admitted that he had not initially considered the relationship as something that would lead to marriage, but once he recognised how he felt, he decided to pursue it seriously before the opportunity slipped away.

Speaking about their love story, Spyro said:

“I met my partner working in the club, not partying in the club, but that’s not to say that partying is wrong. But she was working there and that’s how I got to notice her. I was curious to know why she was working at the club, and that was what made me have my first conversation with her. We got talking and we became friends. Then one day my eyes popped up and I was like, ‘Oh, what I have been looking for was right in front of me,’ because I wasn’t really thinking of making it a lifetime thing. So I said before I quickly miss it, let me swing into action…”
