In an interview with Lucky Udu Experience on Sunday, June 21, 2026, a victim of kidnapping has recounted her ordeal in captivity.
In recent times, several Nigerians have taken to the streets to demand the immediate release of pupils and teachers abducted by insurgents in the Oriire local government area of Oyo State.
However, in the video, the kidnapped victim who spoke under anonymity narrated how she and her mother were abducted late at night by unidentified gunmen.
She also mentioned that male victims are subjected to extreme suffering in the den of the kidnappers, and if a man is abducted, it’s not assured that he will return safely.
Furthermore, she also revealed that male captives are made to fight each other, and anyone that emerges as a winner will gain freedom from the captivity.
In her words, “They treat men like animals; they don’t allow them to bath. If you go there as a man, I am not sure you can come back alive.”
