“That was a very wrong thing to do” – GehGeh tackles Carter Efe over VeryDarkMan’s mother comment following petition

Nigerian financial commentator GehGeh has slammed skit maker Carter Efe for wading into the ongoing feud between singer Zlatan Ibile, Davido and social media activist VeryDarkMan.

In a video shared online, GehGeh disclosed that he learnt Carter Efe had been petitioned by a man identified as IzzyTech over a comment he made about VeryDarkMan’s mother.

He described Carter Efe’s remark as a blunder, cautioning him against fighting the enemies of friends who wield more influence and resources than him.

According to GehGeh, supporting people who have helped someone should not mean taking up their personal battles, but rather promoting their businesses and work.

“As a brother and friend to Carter Efe, the worst mistake you can make in this life is to help your friends fight their enemies, especially when they have more influence and power than you. Carter Efe made one stupid comment in that video. That’s a very wrong and stupid thing to do,” he said.

GehGeh pointed to Zlatan’s fashion brand as an example, arguing that Carter Efe could have backed the singer by buying his products and promoting his business rather than attacking his perceived enemies.

He also drew a religious analogy to drive home his point, urging Carter Efe to apply wisdom and stay away from conflicts that could land him in unnecessary trouble.

“Imagine me helping Davido to fight his enemies, someone that has more power and influence than me, but chose to ignore. Bro, don’t put yourself in that situation. Wisdom is profitable to direct,” he added.

GehGeh’s advice comes against the backdrop of the controversy trailing Carter Efe’s comments about VeryDarkMan and the petition reportedly filed against the streamer.
