A suspected th!ef was reportedly forced to dance after being apprehended for allegedly st3aling laptops from offices at the National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN).

According to an eyewitness, Ali Mustapha, the suspect was arrested by NOUN security personnel on Tuesday, June 24, 2026.

A video shared by the eyewitness shows the suspect dancing to the sound of drums and other musical instruments while surrounded by onlookers.

The footage also captured the moment someone struck him on the head, causing him to fall to the ground.

The circumstances surrounding the incident remain unclear.
