After a Nigerian man celebrated receiving a visa on X, a South African political pundit responded.

On X, Demi, a Nigerian man, wrote, “My visa has been approved.”

He included a number of live emojis and happy faces. 

Reacting, the South African man wrote:

“Perhaps Nigeria is a very terrible country in ways we fail to understand. You cannot celebrate to leave your home country in this manner.”
