After posting an unexpected piece of advise for men going on first dates, a Nigerian woman has prompted internet discussions.
She claims that although guys frequently try to impress women by dressed nicely and smelling good, she thinks there is one more thing that might “seal the deal.”
“When a guy is about to go on a first date with a girl he really likes, he puts in so much effort to look good and smell nice because he wants to impress her. But there’s one more thing that can seal the deal in 2026,” she said.
In order to be open about their financial situation, she also suggested that men print out their bank statements before embarking on a date.
The woman went on to say that early disclosure of such facts might facilitate a prompt decision by both parties regarding whether the relationship is worthwhile.
“Go to your email, check your bank statement for the past six to nine months, print it out, and take it along. When she asks what you do, show her your statement. If she likes what she sees, the relationship can start. If not, you both can go your separate ways. It will save you time and energy,” she added.
