A video showing controversial content creator and street DJ, Ademola Abiodun, popularly known as DJ Chicken, at a police station has gone viral, triggering mixed reactions across social media.
The footage surfaced amid the entertainer’s ongoing legal case over alleged threatening remarks directed at Seyi Tinubu, the son of President Bola Tinubu.
In the viral clip, shared on TikTok by user @ayomido27, DJ Chicken was seen seated at a desk wearing a white singlet while appearing to write a statement.
Unlike his usual energetic and outspoken personality online, the content creator appeared calm and quiet throughout the video.
The clip was shared with the captions, “Very humble” and “See as my baby humble,” seemingly poking fun at the contrast between his online persona and his appearance at the police station.
The video quickly gained traction online, with many social media users commenting on his subdued expression.
While some mocked the entertainer over the footage, others urged the public not to jump to conclusions, noting that the matter is still before the court.
DJ Chicken was arrested after a viral video in which he allegedly made threatening remarks against Seyi Tinubu.
He was later arraigned before an Ikeja Magistrate Court on charges bordering on alleged threats to life, publication of offensive material online, and conduct likely to cause a breach of public peace.
The content creator pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
Following his arraignment, the court granted him bail under specific conditions.
However, the bail conditions were not immediately met after the court proceedings, meaning he remained in custody as the legal process continued.
The case has continued to generate widespread attention online, with some Nigerians calling for his release while others await the outcome of the court proceedings.
