Pres. Tinubu has no criminal record. Everybody alive has an FBI record — Ambassador Reno Omokri

Reno Omokri has explained why President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has not released his FBI records, insisting that the documents should not be mistaken for cr+minal records.

Speaking during an interview, Reno said, “President Tinubu has no criminal record. These are FBI records which everybody has. I have FBI records, you Seun have FBI records.”

According to him, having an FBI record does not mean a person has committed a crime, as the FBI conducts checks on people applying for US visas and those seeking background checks for employment.

Reno also referenced a purported FBI letter concerning Tinubu, which he said stated that a check of the FBI’s National Crime Information Center produced negative results for criminal arrest records and warrants involving the president.

He further argued that the document listed Tinubu’s date of birth as March 29, 1952, dismissing claims about the president’s age.

Explaining why Tinubu may be unwilling to release the records publicly, Reno said they contain sensitive personal information, including biometric and other identifying data.

“The FBI records, they contain your DNA records, they contain your blood group, they contain your fingerprints, biometrics,” he said.

Reno added that information provided during US visa applications, including biometrics, financial information and details about family members, could be held within government records.
