Police are currently looking into Katy Perry after model and actress Ruby Rose reported that the singer had s3xually assaulted her.

Australian police have now acknowledged that they are investigating the allegations.

In a vicious barrage of posts on Threads over the weekend, Ruby, 40, made the startling accusations against the 41-year-old singer of I Kissed A Girl.

Katy has responded to the reports by calling them “reckless lies.”

Victoria Police have now acknowledged that they are looking into Ruby’s allegations regarding Katy’s purported behavior.

The Sun claims that the accusations are related to an incident that happened in a Melbourne nightclub in 2010.

A spokesperson for Victoria Police in Australia said confirmed they were now looking into the claims. 

“Melbourne S£xual Offences and Child Abuse Investigation Team (SOCIT) detectives are investigating a historical s£xual assault that occurred in Melbourne in 2010,” they said. 

“Police have been told the incident occurred at a licensed premises in Melbourne’s CBD. As the investigation remains ongoing, it would be inappropriate to comment further at this stage.” 

After taking her to her social media to make the allegations, Ruby has now said that police have told her not to speak out on the allegations she made as the investigation goes on. In a new update, Ruby told her followers that she had been in touch with the authorities. 

“Last update on this: As of this afternoon, I have finalized all of my reports,” she wrote to fans. “This means I am no longer able to comment, repost, or talk publicly about any of those cases, or the individuals involved. 

“It’s going to look like I am ignoring everything from supportive messages, to other people’s experiences, but I’m not. This is a standard request from the police and in many ways, quite the relief”. 

She claimed: “I can start the healing process now and temporarily move forward. I love you all so much.” 

In a statement issued before the police investigation was formally opened, a spokesperson for Katy denied the claims being made against her.
