The Niger State Police Command has arrested a 37-year-old man and a teenager over allegations involving the $3xual abu$e of minors in Niger State.
According to the command’s spokesperson, SP Wasiu Abiodun, the adult suspect identified as Isah Usman was accused of repeatedly a$$aulting boys aged between 13 and 15 within his compound.
Police also confirmed the arrest of a 16-year-old identified as Yusuf Shehu over allegations involving another 14-year-old boy in an uncompleted building.
According to the police statement, the matter reportedly came to light after the younger boy was noticed spending money unusually. When questioned by his mechanic boss, the minor allegedly disclosed the incident and claimed he was often given between ₦2,000 and ₦2,500 afterward.
The police said investigations into the matter are ongoing.
