Political thugs attacked Labour Party supporters who were waiting for Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, to arrive in Lagos’ Tafawa Balewa Square.
Today, February 11, Peter Obi visited Alaba in Lagos before travelling to TBS, where he was met by fans.
However, political thugs brandishing machetes and other dangerous weapons attacked numerous Labour Party supporters who were making their way to TBS.
Their cars were also destroyed with stones.
Medical personnel at TBS had their hands full as they attended to the injured.
Condemning the attack, Dele Momodu, a supporter of the PDP Presidential candidate Atiku Abubakar said there is no reason for the violence.
