Peter Obi slams Tinubu’s spending priorities, calls for change in 2027

Peter Obi, a former presidential contender, has questioned President Bola Tinubu’s spending priorities by drawing a comparison between the Federal Ministry of Health’s meagre financing and the president’s extravagant aircraft purchases.

Obi asserted that the government only allocated N36 million to the health ministry while spending N360 billion on the presidential plane, claiming that these disparities had made the nation’s problems worse.

He pointed to hunger, increased hardship, and insecurity as proof of Nigeria’s problems under the current government.

In the general elections scheduled for 2027, the former governor of Anambra State asked Nigerians to vote for change by supporting a new administration that places a higher priority on education, operational hospitals, and better living conditions for all.
