“Peter Obi never appreciated my efforts” – Isaac Fayose fumes, says he’ll campaign for Tinubu

Isaac Fayose, a popular socialite, has responded to criticism from supporters of NDC Presidential candidate Peter Obi for spending time with Seyi Tinubu.

Former Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose’s younger brother expressed his dissatisfaction in a video, stating that many Obidients have forgotten the sacrifices he made for Peter Obi during the 2023 general election.

“It shall not be well with you people coming for me. Last election, do you know how much I spent on your people’s Obi? I was everywhere singing and campaigning. I protested.

“Where were you people? Did Obi ever appreciate my efforts? So because I met Seyi Tinubu, you people want to die? Yes, you all can die,” he said.

Fayose went on to commend Seyi Tinubu, calling him a respectable young guy. According to him, when they met, Seyi removed his cap and prostrated to greet him, unlike Peter Obi, who he claimed never appreciated his help.

He also added that no one can tell him who he should associate with, and that he is free to support any candidate of his choice if he feels underappreciated.

“Seyi is a good boy. When he saw me, he removed his cap and prostrated for me. Has Obi ever tried to greet me since I have been campaigning for him? Has he ever thanked me? Una go complain tire. If I like self, I go start to dey campaign for President Bola Tinubu because you guys are not worth it. I can withdraw my support for Obi anytime,” he added.

His comments came after he was widely chastised for a now-viral video in which he was seen singing “On your mandate we shall stand” and praying for the president’s son and his political ambitions.
