Popular Nigerian streamer and content creator Peller has expressed gratitude to rapper Olamide for playing a significant role in his rise to fame, describing the music star as his “helper.”
Speaking during a livestream with fellow streamer Davrel, Peller recalled how Olamide gave him visibility in 2023, when he was still struggling to gain recognition on social media.
According to Peller, Olamide was the first celebrity to share his post on Instagram Story, an endorsement that significantly increased attention on his content.
He explained that shortly after the rapper shared the post, he went live on TikTok and noticed a massive increase in his viewership, with more people beginning to follow his activities.
Recalling the impact of the gesture, Peller said he would remain grateful to Olamide for helping him gain recognition when he was still an upcoming content creator.
He said:
“Olamide was the first celebrity to post me when I was still struggling. Since that day, my life has been going up. That was in 2023, and people started paying attention to me.
“I will keep saying it: Olamide is my helper. He shared my post on his story that day, and after that, I went on live and my views increased massively. He’s the reason why I’m where I am today. I honestly don’t know how to thank him enough.”
Peller’s latest remarks highlight the impact he says Olamide’s early endorsement had on his career.
Beyond sharing his post in 2023, the rapper has reportedly continued supporting the streamer by appearing on his livestreams and gifting him money on different occasions.
