Chukwuemeka Ohanaemere a.k.a Odumeje, a popular pastor, has sparked online comments for making hilarious remarks about poverty before awarding a church member with ₦500,000.
During a church session, Odumeje joked with the congregation that he was suffering from a condition he dubbed “Tinubu,” which he defined as poverty and misery.
The pastor went on to say that not everyone who attends church needs prayers, implying that some people are simply hurting financially and require tangible assistance.
In a moment that elicited laughs from the assembly, Odumeje joked that a church member who had fallen during prayers could have done so due to hunger rather than spiritual reasons. He then blessed the individual with ₦500,000.
Read what he said below;
“You are suffering from a sickness called ‘Tinubu’ that’s poverty. Sometimes, not everybody who comes to church needs prayers; some people are actually hungry. Mr pastor that thing you did to a church member and he fell, it’s hunger that fell him. What this man needs is food manicure”

But not by praying alone and use all their little tokens they earn to pay unnecessary fees at churches and start waiting for miracle”
